Japan set up second Confucius Institute

China National Office for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language (NOTCFL)
and Japan's Obirin University signed a cooperation agreement on Nov. 1 in
Tokyo to set up a Confucius Institute in the university, which will
become the second Confucius Institute in Japan. Pictured, commissioned by
NOTCFL, Chinese envoy to Japan and education counselor Li Dongxiang
signed the agreement with Obirin University President Toyoshi Satow.
