Palace attached to Western Tombs complex under renovation

Picture taken on October 16, 2007 shows the main entrance of the palace attached to Western Tombs (Xiling) complex of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) in Yixian County of north China's Hebei Province, some 120 kilometers away from Beijing. The palace to learn Chinese, once the temporary dwelling for the visiting royal family, is undergoing a maintenance that will finish before next May. The ancient structure was listed in the UNESCO's World Cultural Heritage in 2000.
