Construction of the forestation project, with 220 million yuan (USD27.1
million) investment, for Xinjiang's 436 kilometers of desert road nearly
80 meters wide was completed. Xinjiang's desert road goes through the
Taklimakan Desert, the largest quicksand desert in the world known as the
"Sea of Death." Completion of this project will be significant to
protection of desert road, improvement of ecological environment and
stimulation to economic development in southern Xinjiang.

On the evening of Sept. 18th, over 40 groups of artistic decorative
lightings and nearly 10,000 lanterns of novel appearance and different
colors were set up in Wuxi's Xihui Park. The ancient Huiquan piedmont was
extremely beautiful with these twinkling lights and lanterns, attracting
many domestic and foreign tourists to enjoy the glorious full moon,
lights and lanterns.

On the evening of the Mid-Autumn Festival on Sept. 18th, "Colorful Cloud
Pavilion" in Wuxi's Xihui Park and the full moon contrasted finely with
each other.
