"Lunar Embassy" opened in Beijing

On Oct 20, 2005, in spite of controversy, Beijing Lunar Embassy opened
just one day ago has seen good sales performances. The first Chinese
possessing a plot on the moon was a baby of 34 days old, son of Beijing
Lunar Embassy CEO Li Jie. The land on the moon was a gift from Li Jie's
mother-in-law to her new-born grandson. President of the American head
office Dennis Hope, self-described as "Head Cheese" of the Lunar Embassy,
came all the way to Beijing, claiming 298 yuan (US$36.7) per acre for the
plots on the moon.
