Panda's early arrival in Taiwan urged

Lien Chan (L), honorary chairman of the Chinese Kuomintang (KMT) party,

research center in southwest China's Sichuan Province Thursday October
27, 2005. Lien said he would make efforts to promote the early arrival in
Taiwan of a pair of panda that the mainland offers to the island as a
gift.
